Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Susan G. Komen is another amazing resource that organizes fundraisers and raises awareness about breast cancer. There are countless stories from survivors on the Susan G. Komen website. Let these stories inspire you and your children! If you need reading resources about kids and cancer, especially breast cancer, you can read The Lemonade Club by Patricia Polacco, and Mom Goes To War by Irene Aparici Martín. These are excellent books about kids that are helping friends and mothers battling cancer.

How do you talk to your children about breast cancer? Are they aware of the disease and its impact? Share with me in the comments!
