The Source of Our Strength

I hope you'll join me today over at my friend, Katie's blog at Paradise Praises where I'm sharing about Strength for Our Journey. So many times I find myself running into the arms of the Source of my strength, Jesus Christ. How about you?

favorite verses in the Bible

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Isaiah 40:31 (KJV):

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

There are so many verses in the Bible that speak of the Source of our strength. I would love to hear what your favorite verses are that speak to this truth that we can hold onto tightly as we walk this journey called life. Please join me now over at Paradise Praises where I share some more of mine, and be sure to share your favorite verses speaking to the Source of our strength in the comments there.

Homeschooling When Moma is Sick

My second guest post for my friend Katie Hornor at Paradise Praises was live on February 5. Due to my sickness, I totally forgot to let you all know to head on over to read 5 Tips for Homeschooling When Moma is Sick. I'm grateful to be well again, and to be able to share these five tips with you. They certainly came in handy for our homeschool!

So please join me now at Paradise Praises, and be sure to leave your tips there of how you handle homeschooling when you're sick in the comments on the blog post.

Do You Know the Season of Your Marriage?

Today I'm talking about Seasons of Marriage over at my dear friend's blog, Katie Hornor at Paradise Praises. I met Katie via the blogging world last year when I had the opportunity to be on the review team and blog about her wonderful devotional, Putting on the Spirit: Ten-Minute Devotions for Busy Moms. Katie and her family are awaiting the arrival of the latest addition to their family, so it is my pleasure to help out by writing three guest posts for her during the next three months.

Seasons of Marriage is the first of my three posts that I will be doing for Katie at Paradise Praises. Please join me there now to find out what season your marriage is in and to get the 7 tips to strengthen your marriage. Be sure to spend some time looking around Katie's wonderful blog after you've finished reading my guest post.

I hope you find strength and encouragement for your marriage! Blessings!

Advent: The Candle of Hope

A Little R & R

Today I'm guest posting for Rosilind Jukic from A Little R & R. I hope you'll join me there today as I talk about the Hope we have as Christians. While you are there, please take a moment to look around. Rosilind created A Little R & R as a place for encouragement where women can gather and journey together as we embrace our God-given roles - knowing that we are who God has created us to be. She truly shares my heart about the grace of God. I blog about that same grace here at Grace-Filled-Moments - the grace that empowers me to be who God has created me to be and to do what He has called me to do. Walking in the power of God's grace is one of the many hopes we have as daughters of the King. Please join me now at A Little R & R as I share more about the Hope we have during this Advent season.

May God's Grace Abound in You,
Laurie
