I just saw this blog. This will be the first year my family will do advent. My church used to do it with the youth. Sad to say, our youth group is no longer in tack. Pray that changes. but I did find one through an online webcast. Ann Voskamp's The greatest gift. I am hoping to bring new life into Christmas for my family. We know the true meaning of Christmas. Just want to give a new meaning. The book you are using, will it be this price all the time? I would love to get a copy and use it next Christmas. As a ex homeschooler, I am always thinking ahead... Thanks for letting us in on your traditions. I loved the one about eating cake for breakfast. I may have to borrow that one for my home.
ReplyDeleteHi, Amy! Good to see you here again! I will certainly be praying your church can get their youth group back together. It's so important that youth have a wholesome place to connect and grow in their personal relationship with the Lord. I've heard great things about Ann Voskamp, so I'm sure The Greatest Gift will be a blessing to your home for Advent! I need to look into her books myself. :)
DeleteTo answer your question about the price of Celebrate Jesus...yes, it will continue to be that price...feel free to use the link provided in my post when you are ready to get your copy. I'm glad you enjoyed our traditions, and please borrow any of them you like for your home! Praying your Christmas is filled with special moments and new life as your hearts are focused on Jesus!
