One of the seven daughters of Jethro; wife of Moses; and mother of Gershom and Eliezer.Interesting Facts about Zipporah:
- Zipporah and her sisters were helped by Moses when shepherds tried to chase them away from the well as they attempted to draw water for their father's flocks.
- Zipporah invited Moses back to her father's house to break bread together at the request of her father.
- Zipporah marries Moses.
- She and their two sons accompany Moses part of the way on his journey back to Egypt.
- Zipporah had to circumcise their son with a sharp flint to save Moses' life which God was about to take from him for not performing the circumcision.
What We Can Learn from Zipporah:
- Do not cause my husband to compromise.
- Be obedient to God.
